I am a looking for an experienced videographer/Director of Photography (current or recent graduate preferred) for an independent documentary film that explores democratic solutions to hunger and poverty around the world.
This film explores the power of citizen movements around the world working to defy the prevailing worldview that hunger is a problem of scarcity best left to the experts and corporate agriculture to solve. In four continents, from Africa to North America, the film shows ordinary people developing their power to create real and meaningful change in the face of oppression and antidemocratic institutions that concentrate power and food-producing resources in the hands of a wealthy few.

Title: Works in Progress
Producer: Andres Osorio & Scott Ginsberg
NYU Affiliation: NYU Tisch
Needs: A director and crew
An original comedy series to be written by a group of NYU Dramatic Writing students and to play on NYU TV.
WORKS IN PROGRESS
A rag-tag group of college students generates a series of hare-brained schemes to succeed in the scape of modern media. They’re entirely capable of generating and committing to ideas that sound good on paper, but ultimately fail because of their own shortcomings as people or the difficulty of actually turning that paper-idea into reality.
They’re all hyper ambitious, yet none have ever put in the work to see things through.
Think of it as Ed, Edd n Eddy meets It’s Always Sunny, set in the scope of college.
Structure: A series of vignettes that occur in simple, single locations. Each one would center around some type of “quick and easy” means of reaching the public, be it Vine, Kickstarter, Game Streaming, etc. Things that most assume take no effort, but are actually pretty tough
Dates of Production: TBD (Fall 2016)
