We are building a preschool learning academy app which is heavy on narrated content, and we are seeking a young voice actress to play the part of the narrator. Recording will begin later this August. The narrator should have the voice of a young educator. Please send an audio file audition to firstname.lastname@example.org with the following script:
VO: This is the spotted seal. (pause) Can you tell where it gets its name?
VO: The spotted seal can be found in the North Pacific ocean and Arctic Ocean, which both have very cold waters. (pause) A layer of fat, called blubber helps keep spotted seals warm. Their fur also helps them live in the cold whether.
VO: Spotted seals are born almost completely white in color. They will shed their fur when they are 3 or 4 months old. Then they get spots.
VO: Spotted seals mostly eat fish. In fact, that is what most pinnipeds eat.
VO: A pinniped is a group of marine animals that have front and back flippers. Seals, sea lions and Walruses are all Pinnipeds! (pause) Spotted seals use their flippers to swim through water, where they spend a lot of their lives. However, they cannot breath underwater, so their nostrils close up to prevent water from going in.
VO: Let’s write the letter S for Spotted Seal!
Dates of Production: August 2016
