ALIEN 101 - lead. An extra-terrestrial creature who has visited Earth numerous times on field study missions. He/She is a experienced, commanding leader, occasionally condescending towards his/her apprentice. His/Her English, despite being broken, is of working proficiency.
ALIEN 202- lead. An extra-terrestrial creature who is on his/her first mission to Earth. Alien 101’s apprentice. He/She is curious, inquisitive, and despite being determined to learn, quite naive. He/She is imitative of Alien 101’s lead, far more limited in his/her English skills.
FAST FOOD EMPLOYEE - supporting role. A young, unenthusiastic worker who’s just trying to get through the work day.
M.A.C. (working title) is a sci-fi comedy about aliens investigating the obsession behind an American treasure—a McDonald’s Big Mac. M.A.C. (working title) is an undergraduate NYU Sound Image Project. This is a non-paying job; voice actors will be given a copy of the completed sound composition and will be provided with refreshments.
Audio Auditions will be accepted via E-Mail Submission. For the audition, there are no sides--we are instead curious about your own interpretations for what the language of these characters sound like. We encourage your range.
The Scenario: A McDonald's Drive-Thru. As an alien, attempt to place an order for a Big Mac Sandwich, despite your limited language ability. Auditions exceeding this length will not be accepted.
