Hi, I'm Journey! I'm currently a Drama major at Strasberg, predominantly focusing on voice acting for animation, and video games. However, I am still being trained in acting for screen and stage. I believe that sharing various perspectives creates a more diverse and nurturing world. Thus, I often use my sense of empathy to coerce others into connecting with one another. Similarly, I find that by creating, understanding, and performing a character—as well as that character's beliefs and ideals—I can share a new perspective with an audience. It is for this reason that I love acting.

I love working with NYU students because the footage is always great and the projects are always intriguing. My Type: THE GIRL ON A MISSION I've got a strong, direct energy that lends itself well to smart, high-status characters. The determined intern climbing her way to the top. The sorority president up to no good. THE YOUNG MOTHER My warm and nurturing personality has landed me the "mother" roles since the sixth grade. Now I've finally aged into the type that has always fit me so naturally! THE BEST FRIEND I'm the sunny BFF with a twinkle in her eye. Make her a bit awkward or neurotic and we've hit my comedic sweet spot. I bring color and nuance to character roles that might otherwise fall by the wayside.

I act to tell stories for those who don’t have the means or opportunity to tell their own. Recognizing themselves in characters on stage or screen, I believe, helps people to feel less alone. I can only hope that my work as an actor has affected somebody in the audience as much as it had affected me. I would love to be considered for any and all short films, mini-series, staged readings, etc..
