DP needed for 5 Scene Reshoot on Psychological Suspense Thriller Double Vision
Award-winning Director of WASHINGTON ROAD, HAIR OF THE DOG, EVIL STREETS, THE DEVIL'S FIVE, ABANDONED, STASH and GRUESOME THREESOME is looking for a talented Director of Photography to add his or her touch to complete the production of the psychological suspense-thriller Double Vision.
Filmmaker Terry R. Wickham, whose previous feature film Devil’s Five won Best Horror Film at Hell’s Kitchen NYC Festival last year, and whose film Washington Road Won 3-Minute Chillers Contest sponsored by Apple, talks about the excitement this opportunity brings, “We are currently editing the movie. But when I went through and watched all the footage and created my edit plan, I discovered 5 scenes were missing that were shot. Somehow they were either technically not-recorded or lost in the digital transfer. The DP, who. graduated from NYU with a degree in cinematography, doesn’t have his gear because now it’s in for repair and I need to get this footage res-shoot because we don’t have a movie without it.”
The 5 scenes needing to be re-shot will be done over 2 days. One atmospheric scene that takes near the movie’s ending will really give the DP an amazing opportunity for moody suspense will be shot the morning of Sunday June 23rd and later that afternoon 3 scenes will be filmed at a Police Station location. The final scene, which is the highly cinematic climax of the movie will be filmed Sunday June 30th.
Terry R. Wickham will be holding the Red Carpet World Premiere of his new psychological suspense-thriller Double Vision in his hometown of Everett, Washington at the prestigious Historic Everett Theatre.

Wickham’s father, Reid A. Wickham, has been battling some health issues. Terry explains his real reason for going home, ”I’m truly going home to see my Dad and spend some real quality time with him and my family. My Dad’s health has been a bit dicey so it’s imperative that we experience some memorable moments together while we can.
As I was pondering the things we can do while I’m there, I realized that my Dad’s never seen one of my movies on the big screen. If you are a filmmaker like me, sharing what you’ve created with other people – especially the people who mean the most to you - is what you live for. So it’s paramount that I show one of my movies to him on the big-screen with a live audience and let him experience what his son does.”
Double Vision Synopsis
A couple who dated in the past reconnect after a decade apart but their bliss is shattered by pure terror. Two women who are business partners are having issues professionally, leading to an unimaginable outcome. These two seemingly disparate stories are woven together seamlessly with a surprising twist.
Wickham finishes up by saying, “I made this film because I wanted to tell a love story. Of course my love story needed to be rife with suspense and tension, but it’s not a horror film. I molded Double Vision after the work of the late Alfred Hitchcock, Brian De Palma, with a little Wes Craven and John Carpenter thrown in for good measure.”
This is a prime opportunity for a hungry Director of Photography to come in at the end of a near finished film and put his create stamp on it and get credit on both the movie and IMDB. Wickham adds, “I’m an extremely visual director who uses the camera as a major component in telling this story. This is a chance for a cinematographer help create true cinematic suspense with lens, light, short depth of field and movement.”
Please contact Wickham if interested in discussing this opportunity further and become part of an exciting film that is going to be on display for the world to see soon.
